What is a Story Tag™?
A Story Tag™ is a small chip embedded into the frame on your map that lets you connect your phone to information about the places you're visiting.
We created Story Tags™ because we wanted our maps to be more than just something beautiful hanging on a wall. We wanted them to help you discover, learn, and remember.
What are the tokens for?
The included tokens are used to mark the places you've visited. As you travel, simply place a token in the corresponding location on your map to create a visual record of your adventures.
Can I re-program the Story Tag™?
Yes!
One of our favorite things about Story Tags™ is that you can make them your own.
Instead of linking to the original information, you can re-program the tag to link to things like:
- Vacation photos
- Family memories
- A travel journal
- A photo album
- Videos from your adventures
- A personal website

How do I display my map?
Our maps come with an easel to display on a shelf. If you prefer to hang it, there are keyholes in the back or you can use picture hanging strips.
Do the tokens come with the map?
Yes. Tokens are included with the map
Can I personalize my map?
Many of our products offer personalization options. Check the individual product listing for available customization details.

What kind of wood do you use?
We primarily use high-quality birch plywood for our maps and products.
Are your maps handmade?
Yes. Every map is designed, laser cut, assembled, and finished by our family-owned business in Florida.
Will my map look exactly like the photos?
Because wood is a natural material, each piece has unique grain patterns, color variations, and characteristics. While every effort is made to match the photos, no two maps are exactly alike.
What sizes are available?
Map sizes vary by design. Dimensions can be found in each product listing. Contact us for custom sizing.
Where are your products made?
All of our products are designed and handcrafted in our Florida workshop.
Do you offer custom maps?
We love custom projects and are happy to discuss ideas. Contact us with details about what you're looking for.

What happens when I tap the Story Tag™?
That depends on the map.
Our Story Tags™ come pre-programmed with a link to official park information, visitor resources, historical information, or other helpful details about the locations on the map.
If you're planning a trip, it's a quick way to learn more about a destination before you go.
Can I change what the Story Tag™ links to?
Yes!

Do I need an app to use a Story Tag™?
No. Most smartphones can read Story Tags™ without installing any additional apps.
Will a Story Tag™ work with my phone?
Story Tags™ work with most newer iPhone and Android devices that support tap-to-connect technology.
My phone isn't finding the Story Tag™. What should I do?
A few things to try:
- Make sure your phone is unlocked.
- Hold the back of your phone against the Story Tag™ area.
- Move it around slowly if needed.
- Give it a second or two to respond.
Every phone places its reader in a slightly different spot, so sometimes it takes a little experimenting the first time.
Display & Care
How much does the map weigh?
Weight varies depending on the map design and size. Product listings include dimensions to help you choose appropriate hanging methods.
Can I display my map outdoors?
Our maps are designed for indoor use. Exposure to weather, humidity, or prolonged direct sunlight may cause damage over time.
How do I clean my map?
Dust gently with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using water, cleaning sprays, or harsh chemicals.
What if a token gets lost?
Replacement tokens may be available. Contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to make my order?
Production times vary depending on the product and order volume. Current processing times are listed with each product.
Do you accept rush orders?
If you need an item by a specific date, contact us before ordering and we'll let you know if we can accommodate your request.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping times vary based on your location and the carrier selected at checkout.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible and include photos of the damage. We'll work with you to resolve the issue.
Do you offer local pick up?
Yes, we do. If you are local, you can enter LOCALPICKUP in the coupon code to remove any shipping charges. Contact us to arrange pick up. If you enter the LOCALPICKUP coupon code and are not local, your order will be cancelled and you will need to place it again with the appropriate shipping address.
